Historic Drawbridge Half Marathon
My second pacing gig with Beast pacing and first half marathon distance pacing was PHENOMENAL! This low key, flat, beautiful and windy race attracts runners from all over the east coast. This year they introduced the marathon distance and I had the privilege of running with both half & full marathoners at the 2:30/5:00 pace, including Vanessa Kline and another runner, Coop, who I met at Fire On the Mountain 50k a couple weeks ago. The beauty of pacing is that you get to experience a PR/PB all over again for others!! We shared stories, laughs, goals and I got to see them take off the last mile to accomplish what they set out to do!! Thank you to Revolution3 for a wonderful race and CONGRATS to all runners!!

Bull Run Run 50-miler

Official Time: 12:31:31 ( a 50-miler PR) I did it. I’m not sure how, but I crossed the finish line yesterday of the Bull Run Run 50-miler. It had been an intimidating race from the moment I shared with others who had run it in the past. I heard all sorts of stories - the infamous Do Loop, the rolling hills, the unpredictable weather, the tough cutoff, the rocky sections that might trip you up later on.
